We were greatly honored by a courtesy visit from the President of the Civil Protection Authority of East-Timor (Jesuíno dos Reis de Matos Carvalho), the National Director of the Fire Department of East-Timor (Anibal Paulo de Oliveira Maia) and the Commander of the Dili Fire Department (Claudio da Silva). While passing through Figueira da Foz, they had the opportunity to visit the renovated shipyard facilities and the ferry Haksolok.
This shipyard created the conditions to be a training platform for Timorese in areas such as shipbuilding and repair, metalworking, but also cooperation with Portuguese entities in the military or civil protection/firefighter areas.
