Another important step on the path this company has been charting, the launch of one of the PRR projects we have in hand, the refurbishment of Mar Eterno (now Fernando Lé), which features a new wheelhouse and mast entirely build in aluminium and a surface treatment (hull works) in silicone.
This ceremony was attended, among others, by the Minister of Fisheries, José Manuel Fernandes, the Mayor of Figueira da Foz, Pedro Miguel Santana Lopes, the Shipowner, António Lé, the Director General for Maritime Policy, Marisa Lameiras da Silva, and the Director General of the DGRM – Directorate-General for Natural Resources, Safety, and Maritime Services, António Coelho Cândido.
It was an opportunity for all the guests to see the results of the aforementioned refurbishment, as well as the work underway on what will be a landmark in fishing vessel construction in Portugal, the Atleta (entirely built of aluminium).
We remain committed to restoring these shipyards to the greatness of former times and to aiding regional and national development.
